Filipp Bystrov came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Prokopyevsk's Aleksey Efimov. But to his dismay, Aleksey Efimov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Filipp Bystrov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksey Efimov in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Berezniki HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Zlomanov to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes, Prokopyevsk's David Gagarin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filipp Bystrov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Prokopyevsk reached it. Stanislav Grabchak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Viktor Konopasevich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Zinoviy Trochin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prokopyevsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zinoviy Trochin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stanislav Grabchak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Viktor Konopasevich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Grabchak in the 45th minute of play forced Prokopyevsk's goalkeeper Viktor Konopasevich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Prokopyevsk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Grigoriy Buryak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After the first half Prokopyevsk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Berezniki HC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Gerasimov came free, but Filipp Bystrov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislav Onykiy charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislav Onykiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Prokopyevsk getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. In the 84th minute Aleksey Efimov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipp Bystrov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Yuliy Mashnev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Berezniki HC's zone, Zinoviy Trochin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipp Bystrov came out of the goal and Zinoviy Trochin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filipp Bystrov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksey Efimov in the 94th minute of the match. The Berezniki HC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Prokopyevsk's performance. The match ended with a win for Prokopyevsk.
