The tension between the Syktyvkar and the Arzamas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dmitriy Melnikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kir Pronskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Danil Gorbunov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stepan Sergeev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ruslan Nechaev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dmitriy Melnikov in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Dmitriy Melnikov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kir Pronskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Oleg Ganenfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Stepan Sergeev sped through Syktyvkar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Danil Gorbunov. Ruslan Nechaev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy Afanasev in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Syktyvkar getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Roman Malafeev hit a great ball. Kir Pronskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danil Gorbunov having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Roman Malafeev got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Roman Malafeev hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Arzamas's Maksim Ermakov tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Danil Gorbunov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kir Pronskiy in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Syktyvkar getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Vasiliy Ilyin hit a great ball. Kir Pronskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Danil Gorbunov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vsevolod Sviridov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stepan Sergeev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Danil Gorbunov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stepan Sergeev in the 78th minute of play forced Syktyvkar's goalkeeper Danil Gorbunov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Syktyvkar's Danil Gorbunov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kir Pronskiy in the 84th minute of play. Oleg Duntsov hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes Syktyvkar got a freekick which was hit by Vitaliy Afanasev. 90 minutes in the game, Stepan Sergeev dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Dmitriy Melnikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruslan Nechaev having to interfere. Danil Gorbunov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kir Pronskiy's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Syktyvkar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
