After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Yakov Kumov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khimki FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yakov Kumov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fedosey Pastuhov was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute Fedosey Pastuhov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Dvinskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislav Isaev got free with Rasul Zabuldygin in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petr Yurchik ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Khimki FC's Yakov Kumov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rasul Zabuldygin. That made the score 0-2 after 95 minutes of play. The Khimki FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
