Belgorod's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salavat the free kick. In the 59th minute, Roman Karyaka had to leave the field with a concussion. A collision led to Salavat getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ilya Klochihin hit a great ball. Konstantin Danilov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Salavat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgorod the free kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Salavat eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
