Gennadiy Traktuev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leonid Miroshin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nalchik FC booed when Miass FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyubomir Loktionov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mark Bostorin kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Gennadiy Traktuev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonid Miroshin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Miass FC's Gennadiy Traktuev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Miroshin in the 34th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Leonid Miroshin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filimon Bolotov made a kick off. Filimon Bolotov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Lev Goldenshtein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Miass FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zinoviy Hlebtsyn hit a great ball. Miass FC were furious when Maksim Andreev was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Miass FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! In the 72nd minute Filimon Primenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gennadiy Traktuev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gennadiy Traktuev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonid Miroshin in the 78th minute of play. Gennadiy Traktuev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filimon Primenko in the 80th minute of the match. Gennadiy Traktuev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonid Miroshin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Leonid Miroshin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gennadiy Traktuev. Miass FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonid Miroshin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Miass FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
