Pavel Dyachkov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lev Goldenshtein having to make a save. Pavel Kechko might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lev Goldenshtein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pavel Kechko ran back to his position shaking his head. Rostislav Shenkurskiy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lev Goldenshtein. Nalchik FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nalchik FC's Artur Kozlov got a free kick in the 9th minute. Pavel Kechko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lev Goldenshtein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Leonid Miroshin sped through Sergiev Posad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artem Novoselskiy. Filimon Primenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lev Goldenshtein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Kechko in the 29th minute of the match. Nalchik FC's Lev Goldenshtein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Dyachkov in the 30th minute of play. Pavel Dyachkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Lev Goldenshtein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Kozlov charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Kozlov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Filimon Primenko came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Nalchik FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filimon Primenko couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Sergiev Posad got a freekick which was hit by Kirill Przhesetskiy. If Filimon Primenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonid Miroshin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Lev Goldenshtein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavel Kechko in the 56th minute. Pavel Dyachkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavel Dyachkov in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lev Goldenshtein saved Nalchik FC from getting behind. If Pavel Kechko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Kechko got free with Lev Goldenshtein in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th match minute, Sergiev Posad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirill Przhesetskiy to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filimon Primenko in the 78th minute of play forced Sergiev Posad's goalkeeper Artem Novoselskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kirill Przhesetskiy was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. A collision led to Sergiev Posad getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kirill Przhesetskiy hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sergiev Posad's Pavel Kechko got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Sergiev Posad's Artem Novoselskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filimon Primenko in the 84th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Nalchik FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitaliy Smola. 89 minutes into the match, Nalchik FC's goalkeeper Lev Goldenshtein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pavel Kechko. If Leonid Miroshin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nalchik FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
