Vadim Evseev started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gleb Skripkin in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ippolit Tatev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rostislav Lebedev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaliningrad's Ippolit Tatev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gleb Skripkin in the 15th minute of play. Ippolit Tatev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gleb Skripkin in the 17th minute of the match. With his leg Ippolit Tatev managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Krasnoyarsk FC's Rostislav Lebedev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Vadim Evseev came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Kaliningrad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vadim Evseev couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Rossinskiy in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vyacheslav Yung saved Krasnoyarsk FC from getting behind. Rostislav Lebedev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ippolit Tatev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Tsvetkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Vyacheslav Yung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kaliningrad's Mikhail Solovov got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Krasnoyarsk FC defense, Vadim Evseev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vyacheslav Yung. The Krasnoyarsk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vyacheslav Yung should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gleb Skripkin to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Rostislav Lebedev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ippolit Tatev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ippolit Tatev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rostislav Lebedev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rostislav Lebedev might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ippolit Tatev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rostislav Lebedev ran back to his position shaking his head. Ippolit Tatev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gleb Skripkin in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Kaliningrad's goal looked a bit too open when Rostislav Lebedev came free, but Ippolit Tatev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gleb Skripkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Oleg Miloradovich's late challenge caught a Kaliningrad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oleg Miloradovich helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Krasnoyarsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Miloradovich. Igor Tsvetkov in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vyacheslav Yung, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Kaliningrad booed when Krasnoyarsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Evseev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vadim Evseev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vyacheslav Yung came out and tried to block the shot, but Vadim Evseev slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 96th minute.
