In the 13th minute Anton Nesterov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Arhipov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rostislav Boyarinov in the 35th minute of play forced Balashikha FC's goalkeeper Egor Shagimardanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rostislav Boyarinov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Egor Shagimardanov. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Balashikha FC's Denis Evseev got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Denis Evseev off the ground. A collision led to Balashikha FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Denis Evseev hit a great ball. Rostislav Boyarinov struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Kirov's Anton Arhipov got control of the ball when Anton Nesterov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Kirov booed when Balashikha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egor Shagimardanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Rystsov in the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Anton Nesterov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anton Arhipov. Anton Nesterov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Anton Nesterov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Kulikov's late challenge caught a Kirov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Kulikov helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Balashikha FC got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Kulikov. Kirov were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Balashikha FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maksim Markarov took the corner. The Balashikha FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Balashikha FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
