Timofey Dyupin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Klim Adrianov made a huge save. If Timofey Dyupin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Grishukov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Bunin having to interfere. Egor Ignashevich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. German Bunin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konstantin Boyarskiy made a kick off. Konstantin Boyarskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Timofey Dyupin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 93 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Klim Adrianov was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Konstantin Boyarskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cherkessk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantin Boyarskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cherkessk FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Petropavlovsk-Kamch. FC for a fine match.
