Artem Smagorinskiy made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Pavel Burlatskiy sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Pavel Burlatskiy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Filipp Maginskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Artem Smagorinskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dmitriy Berezutskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iskander Saigin having to interfere. Rostislav Tyushnyakov kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience cheered when Valentin Klimov's long shot passed Artem Smagorinskiy's right side. It was 1-0, 21 minutes into the match. Pavel Aleksandrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Iskander Saigin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dmitriy Berezutskiy scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iskander Saigin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pavel Aleksandrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Iskander Saigin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kiselevsk's zone, Filipp Maginskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artem Smagorinskiy came out of the goal and Filipp Maginskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dmitriy Berezutskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. Iskander Saigin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dmitriy Berezutskiy in the 53rd minute of the match. Klim Uspenskiy hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match, Pavel Aleksandrov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iskander Saigin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 65 played minutes Kiselevsk got a freekick which was hit by Klim Uspenskiy. After 71 minutes, Rostislav Tyushnyakov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kiselevsk and the Khabarovsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Khabarovsk booed when Kiselevsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rostislav Tyushnyakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dmitriy Berezutskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Aleksandrov got free with Iskander Saigin in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kiselevsk's Dmitriy Berezutskiy in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Khabarovsk's goalie prevented a goal. Pavel Burlatskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Artem Smagorinskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Pavel Burlatskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artem Smagorinskiy was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kiselevsk players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Khabarovsk.
