Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yakov Trofimov made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Kirov's Nikolay Fedyakin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grigoriy Zanin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nikolay Fedyakin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoriy Zanin having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kirov's goalkeeper Innokentiy Polyakov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Kirov getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Viktor Muzalevskih hit a great ball. Innokentiy Polyakov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Innokentiy Volkov in the 24th minute. Yakov Trofimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolay Fedyakin in the 28th minute of play forced Stary Oskol FC's goalkeeper Grigoriy Zanin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dmitriy Seleznev's late challenge caught a Kirov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dmitriy Seleznev helped the player get up and apologised. Kirov's Pavel Urumov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stary Oskol FC. With a little luck, Kirov's Innokentiy Polyakov got control of the ball when Innokentiy Volkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Innokentiy Volkov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Innokentiy Polyakov firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Stary Oskol FC's zone, Yakov Trofimov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigoriy Zanin came out of the goal and Yakov Trofimov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Innokentiy Volkov came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Stary Oskol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Innokentiy Volkov couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Igor Kazankin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Innokentiy Volkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Innokentiy Polyakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Timofey Dolzhanskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Grigoriy Zanin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yakov Trofimov, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Grigoriy Zanin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikolay Fedyakin in the 76th minute. Yakov Trofimov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Grigoriy Zanin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
