Despite this Arkadiy Hitrun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arkadiy Hitrun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gleb Sredinskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gleb Sredinskiy in the 26th minute of play forced Severodvinsk's goalkeeper Arkadiy Hitrun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Severodvinsk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arkadiy Hitrun should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arkadiy Baklykov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Viktor Abdulazizov could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Arkadiy Hitrun however easily saved by the left post. In the 59th minute Kirill Atepko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zinoviy Sadilov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Abdulazizov got free with Arkadiy Hitrun in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zinoviy Sadilov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiy Baklykov, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Gleb Sredinskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiy Hitrun having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gleb Sredinskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arkadiy Hitrun was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game.
