Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roman Yabbarov kicked off to start the match. Oleg Kudrinskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Yabbarov in the 3rd minute of the match. Filipp Formulevich's late challenge caught a Tolyatti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipp Formulevich helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Volgograd FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Filipp Formulevich hit a great ball. Timofey Ignashevich took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oleg Kudrinskiy. Volgograd FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nikolay Afanasenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Oleg Kudrinskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Yabbarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filipp Formulevich kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Albert Davydov hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tolyatti booed when Volgograd FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Babichev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Volgograd FC's zone, Nikolay Afanasenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oleg Kudrinskiy came out of the goal and Nikolay Afanasenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tolyatti's goalkeeper Pavel Gazzaev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Gleb Kucheryavyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Gazzaev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Kuskov made a kick off. Roman Yabbarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oleg Kudrinskiy having to make a save. In the 52nd match minute, Tolyatti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislav Smetannikov to maneuver through the defense. Denis Kuskov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Pavel Gazzaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tolyatti getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Klim Evseev hit a great ball. Pavel Gazzaev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marat Kapranov in the 65th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Volgograd FC's goalkeeper Oleg Kudrinskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolay Afanasenko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Yabbarov in the 74th minute of play forced Volgograd FC's goalkeeper Oleg Kudrinskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stanislav Smetannikov fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tolyatti's protests and gave Stanislav Smetannikov a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Tolyatti got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Smetannikov. 87 minutes into the match, Tolyatti's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Kuskov came free, but Pavel Gazzaev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Volgograd FC's Denis Kuskov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavel Gazzaev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pavel Gazzaev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Kuskov in the 93rd minute of play. Oleg Kudrinskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Yabbarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th match minute, Volgograd FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Babichev to maneuver through the defense.
