In the 16th match minute, Prokopyevsk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efim Yakimets to maneuver through the defense. Egor Lemeshev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes of play, Magnitogorsk FC's Fedor Postnov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timur Rostovskiy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Goglev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egor Lemeshev in the 34th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egor Lemeshev in the 47th minute of play forced Magnitogorsk FC's goalkeeper Ivan Goglev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Viktor Sharf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Goglev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viktor Sharf was the one to do the kick off. Ivan Goglev made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Egor Lemeshev sent off a good shot on target. Timur Rostovskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petr Semenov in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Viktor Sharf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prokopyevsk FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Timur Rostovskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petr Semenov in the 69th minute of play. Petr Semenov took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timur Rostovskiy. Timur Rostovskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ivan Goglev was a little too slow when Egor Lemeshev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 3-2. Gerasim Nikitin's late challenge caught a Prokopyevsk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerasim Nikitin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Prokopyevsk FC booed when Magnitogorsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerasim Nikitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Goglev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Sharf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 91 minutes, Egor Lemeshev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prokopyevsk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egor Lemeshev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, one of Prokopyevsk FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Magnitogorsk FC. Nikolay Tropinov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Timur Rostovskiy. 4-2. An unexpected shot in the 100th minute by Viktor Sharf got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Magnitogorsk FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
