Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonid Suvorinov in the 4th minute of play forced Kursk FC's goalkeeper Denis Leskevich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Birobidzhan getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Oleg Rusak hit a great ball. Leonid Suvorinov hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Oleg Rusak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oleg Rusak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikolay Fadeev struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Leonid Abramson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kursk FC. After 21 played minutes Leonid Suvorinov rounded Kursk FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 24 played minutes Birobidzhan got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Alekseenko. 28 minutes into the match, Kursk FC's Nikolay Fadeev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonid Abramson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Leonid Suvorinov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birobidzhan's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonid Suvorinov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Leskevich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Oleg Rusak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Dmitriy Ryabov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oleg Rusak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Denis Leskevich made a huge save. Nikolay Fadeev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Abramson having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikolay Fadeev to make the kick off. Emmanuil Chernov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Zabegalin during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Kursk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Zabegalin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Birobidzhan getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vyacheslav Demchenko hit a great ball. Stanislav Baranov charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislav Baranov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Stanislav Baranov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the game, Leonid Suvorinov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Denis Leskevich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leonid Husainov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Birobidzhan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kursk FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
