Zinoviy Naschekin came out of the goal and Aleksey Medvedovskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Alibasov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The wind increased when Modest Grechanov made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolay Shabak got free with Ivan Alibasov in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Tolyatti FC booed when Kansk HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrey Dmitrievskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Alibasov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modest Grechanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Parfen Knyazhnin's late challenge caught a Kansk HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Parfen Knyazhnin helped the player get up and apologised. Parfen Knyazhnin kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Kansk HC got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Maloletnev. Tolyatti FC's Modest Grechanov got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oskar Fokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nikolay Shabak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Kansk HC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Modest Grechanov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tolyatti FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
