Maykop's Ernest Alferov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artem Galantsev in the 6th minute of play. Maykop were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Stary Oskol's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. German Abalakin took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elisey Milaschenko in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrey Anischev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Stary Oskol booed when Maykop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Shaitanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elisey Milaschenko struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Andrey Anischev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maykop. Andrey Anischev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elisey Milaschenko in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Timofey Mehelin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Andrey Anischev, passed just outside the right post. In the 37th match minute, Stary Oskol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Zhadin to maneuver through the defense. Stary Oskol's Andrey Anischev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Stary Oskol from getting a goal against them. Ernest Alferov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artem Galantsev, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Ernest Fedoseev kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Stary Oskol's Yaroslav Karpov got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elisey Milaschenko to make the kick off. Ernest Alferov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yaroslav Karpov in the 55th minute. Yaroslav Karpov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Alferov having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Artem Galantsev fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ernest Alferov, passed just outside the right post. Yaroslav Karpov struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ernest Alferov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stary Oskol. Yaroslav Karpov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Ernest Alferov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Artem Galantsev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Alferov having to interfere. If Timofey Mehelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Elisey Milaschenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maykop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elisey Milaschenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute of the match Felix Zboromirskiy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrey Anischev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Stary Oskol booed when Maykop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elisey Milaschenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yaroslav Karpov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Stary Oskol got a freekick which was hit by Nikolay Gorshkov. 96 minutes into the match, Maykop's Timofey Mehelin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrey Anischev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
