Andrey Anischev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoriy Dolgih in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artem Galantsev was the one to do the kick off. In the 95th minute Yaroslav Karpov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filimon Vestov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
