Fedor Gabdrafikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Kuzmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Khimki's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Timofey Fokin scored to the left of an out of position Daniil Menyalov, making the score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Kislovodsk FC's Igor Terentiev got a free kick in the 45th minute. Timofey Fokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniil Menyalov having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timofey Fokin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rudolf Voloskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 played minutes Khimki got a freekick which was hit by Andron Serebryakov. In the 61st minute, Boris Saikov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fedor Gabdrafikov. The goal made the score 2-1. Rudolf Voloskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniil Menyalov having to interfere. Nikolay Makashov charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikolay Makashov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Nikolay Makashov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Voloskov in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniil Menyalov saved Khimki from getting behind. Rudolf Voloskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniil Menyalov having to interfere. Khimki's Daniil Menyalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Voloskov in the 78th minute of play. Daniil Menyalov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Voloskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Andron Serebryakov's late challenge caught a Kislovodsk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andron Serebryakov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Khimki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andron Serebryakov to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Kislovodsk FC's corner Yaroslav Barsukov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniil Menyalov quite easily take care of the ball. In the 95th minute, Khimki's Viktor Kuzmin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2.
