If Andrey Gorchhanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Voronov got free with Mark Mihailin in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Veniamin Pruzhinin took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gennadiy Bukievskiy. Gennadiy Bukievskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Vadim Andreev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balashikha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vadim Andreev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Mihailin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrey Gorchhanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute of the match Dmitriy Gatsura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gennadiy Bukievskiy skillfully saved the ball. In the 24th minute Ruslan Moiseev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gennadiy Bukievskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Novokuybyshevsk's Mark Mihailin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrey Gorchhanov in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Andrey Gorchhanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balashikha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrey Gorchhanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir Voronov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vadim Andreev fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balashikha FC's protests and gave Vadim Andreev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Vadim Andreev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gennadiy Bukievskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veniamin Pruzhinin in the 40th minute of the match. Ruslan Moiseev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Novokuybyshevsk's Veniamin Pruzhinin got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48thth minute of the game Veniamin Pruzhinin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balashikha FC's Gennadiy Bukievskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

After a rather tough play, Novokuybyshevsk's Rudolf Petrushevskiy got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ruslan Moiseev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veniamin Pruzhinin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Gennadiy Bukievskiy made a huge save. In the 61st match minute, Balashikha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oleg Sundukov to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Veniamin Pruzhinin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novokuybyshevsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Veniamin Pruzhinin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gennadiy Bukievskiy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruslan Moiseev in the 64th minute of play forced Balashikha FC's goalkeeper Gennadiy Bukievskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play, Novokuybyshevsk's Veniamin Pruzhinin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gennadiy Bukievskiy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Rudolf Petrushevskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Mihailin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Gorchhanov in the 77th minute of the match. Ruslan Moiseev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gennadiy Bukievskiy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Ivan Savranskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novokuybyshevsk and the Balashikha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Novokuybyshevsk's Ivan Savranskiy got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 88th minute, Vladimir Voronov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chants of Novokuybyshevsk echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Balashikha FC had held the ball for most of the match.
