Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kirill Nedosekin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kirill Nedosekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vladimir HC booed when Tambov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veniamin Tornov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Vladimir HC's Valeriy Sperantov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikhail Anisimov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mikhail Anisimov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yaroslav Zavedeev's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute Valeriy Sperantov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Anisimov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrey Nazarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, one of Tambov:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Georgiy Atramov shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Kirill Nedosekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dmitriy Zhandarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dmitriy Zhandarov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrey Nazarov in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Vladimir HC's Dmitriy Zhandarov got control of the ball when Andrey Nazarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 played minutes Tambov got a freekick which was hit by Stepan Kochanov. Vladimir HC were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Tambov's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Georgiy Atramov took the corner. The corner led Vladimir HC's Georgiy Atramov to fire away a dangerous shot which Mikhail Anisimov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valeriy Sperantov to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Valeriy Sperantov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Vladimir HC defense, Kirill Nedosekin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dmitriy Zhandarov. The Vladimir HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dmitriy Zhandarov should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Andrey Nazarov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dmitriy Zhandarov was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tambov! The referee gave Vladimir HC a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Georgiy Atramov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tambov's Mikhail Anisimov. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriy Sperantov in the 86th minute of play forced Tambov's goalkeeper Mikhail Anisimov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kirill Nedosekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andrey Nazarov came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Tambov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrey Nazarov couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes Vladimir HC got a freekick which was hit by Daniil Bashlykov. Andrey Nazarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yaroslav Zavedeev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Vladimir HC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vladimir HC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
