Ippolit Grusha charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ippolit Grusha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Blagoveshchensk HC got a freekick which was hit by Ippolit Grusha. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Sergey Novikov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blagoveshchensk HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergey Novikov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georgiy Tatarchuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Astrakhan FC booed when Blagoveshchensk HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksandr Parhalin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astrakhan FC's Georgiy Tatarchuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Novikov in the 35th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Blagoveshchensk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Semen Fokin came free, but Efim Milovidov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blagoveshchensk HC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Astrakhan FC for a fine match.
