Potap Artemev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Baikalov having to interfere. Vladislav Rozhkin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Stepan Balbatun made a huge save. When Novomoskovsk's Potap Artemev in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miass's goalie prevented a goal. If Potap Artemev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stepan Balbatun came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Miass's Vladislav Rozhkin. But to his dismay, Vladislav Rozhkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Miass's Mark Baikalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Potap Artemev in the 28th minute of play. Danila Avdeev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Baikalov having to make a save. Danila Avdeev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mark Baikalov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladislav Rozhkin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Miass's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Arkadiy Vitkalov fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Novomoskovsk's protests and gave Arkadiy Vitkalov a yellow card for diving instead. The goalkeeper, Stepan Balbatun, was totally fooled by Miass's Vsevolod Zangareev, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Potap Artemev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mark Baikalov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egor Altaiskiy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stepan Balbatun. Novomoskovsk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Potap Artemev was the one to do the kick off. Stanislav Vladychin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stepan Balbatun. Novomoskovsk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valentin Tepikin might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stepan Balbatun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Tepikin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Danila Avdeev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mark Baikalov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Potap Artemev, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Potap Artemev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novomoskovsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Potap Artemev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Baikalov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danila Avdeev succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 78th playminute. Mark Baikalov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Potap Artemev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Miass getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Erofey Bulanov hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Potap Artemev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mark Baikalov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Potap Artemev in the 88th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
