Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yakov Georgiev took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mikhail Kabanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yakov Georgiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 played minutes Blagoveshchensk FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerasim Volkov. When Oskar Artemenkov came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Blagoveshchensk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Artemenkov couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute Timofey Netishinskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evgeniy Konoplev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikhail Kabanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veniamin Porohov in the 17th minute. Maykop's Veniamin Porohov got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Yakov Georgiev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Yakov Georgiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Blagoveshchensk FC's Arkadiy Polyakov in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maykop's goalie prevented a goal. When Oskar Artemenkov fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blagoveshchensk FC's protests and gave Oskar Artemenkov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Blagoveshchensk FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Oskar Artemenkov hit a great ball. Evgeniy Konoplev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timofey Netishinskiy in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Arkadiy Polyakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evgeniy Konoplev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Maykop's Veniamin Porohov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikhail Kabanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiy Polyakov to make the kick off. When Daniil Opanskiy fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maykop's protests and gave Daniil Opanskiy a yellow card for diving instead. Aleksey Vinogradov's late challenge caught a Maykop's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aleksey Vinogradov helped the player get up and apologised. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Yakov Georgiev sped through Blagoveshchensk FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mikhail Kabanov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timofey Netishinskiy got free with Evgeniy Konoplev in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arkadiy Polyakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Evgeniy Konoplev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blagoveshchensk FC's Timofey Netishinskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arkadiy Polyakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evgeniy Konoplev having to interfere. Grigoriy Suslin kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Blagoveshchensk FC's Mikhail Kabanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yakov Georgiev in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Maykop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoriy Suslin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Timofey Netishinskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blagoveshchensk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Timofey Netishinskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evgeniy Konoplev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veniamin Porohov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikhail Kabanov having to interfere. Blagoveshchensk FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
