After a defensive mix-up in Neftekamsk FC's zone, Aleksandr Suzin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Innokentiy Krasnoyarov came out of the goal and Aleksandr Suzin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fedor Baranov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Valeriy Strizhov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viktor Panskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Baranov, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Fedor Baranov took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Viktor Panskov to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th minute Valeriy Strizhov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innokentiy Krasnoyarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lev Dubov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Fedor Baranov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedor Baranov in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Panskov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viktor Panskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedor Baranov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fedor Baranov might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Panskov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fedor Baranov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 50th minute Fedor Baranov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Panskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Aleksandr Suzin made the kick off in the second half. Grigoriy Sivirskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigoriy Sivirskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, one of Neftekamsk FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Neftekamsk FC. Innokentiy Krasnoyarov had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Pavel Grinkov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriy Strizhov got free with Innokentiy Krasnoyarov in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valeriy Strizhov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innokentiy Krasnoyarov having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Ignatiev during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anton Ignatiev kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Pavel Grinkov saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. Viktor Panskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lev Dubov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neftekamsk FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Aleksandr Suzin scored to the left of an out of position Innokentiy Krasnoyarov, making the score, 1-1. Valeriy Strizhov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Innokentiy Krasnoyarov made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Aleksandr Suzin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Innokentiy Krasnoyarov was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedor Baranov in the 86th minute of play forced Volgograd's goalkeeper Viktor Panskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Volgograd defense, Lev Dubov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Panskov. The Volgograd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Panskov should have stopped the shot. Fedor Baranov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Neftekamsk FC's Lev Dubov in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Volgograd's goalie prevented a goal. Lev Dubov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Viktor Panskov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 99 minutes, Innokentiy Krasnoyarov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Neftekamsk FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
