When Khimki's Artem Doguzov in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almetyevsk FC's goalie prevented a goal. Almetyevsk FC's Boris Sidorov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Stanishevskiy in the 14th minute of play. Khimki's Artem Doguzov got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boris Sidorov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Stanishevskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudolf Shibov kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Rudolf Stanishevskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Moisey Argunov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Potap Zabolotnikov having to interfere. Rudolf Stanishevskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the match, Khimki's goal looked a bit too open when Moisey Argunov came free, but Potap Zabolotnikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rudolf Stanishevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Sidorov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudolf Stanishevskiy in the 63rd minute. Gerasim Abramovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolf Shibov hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Khimki were awarded a corner. Igor Didenko went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Khimki's corner Zinoviy Emelyanov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boris Sidorov quite easily take care of the ball. Rudolf Stanishevskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Sidorov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudolf Stanishevskiy in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisey Argunov in the 82nd minute of play forced Khimki's goalkeeper Potap Zabolotnikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Moisey Argunov notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Khimki's Potap Zabolotnikov. Potap Zabolotnikov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boris Sidorov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Stanishevskiy in the 87th minute of the match. Artem Doguzov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisey Argunov in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Potap Zabolotnikov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moisey Argunov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. After 95 played minutes, Almetyevsk FC's Mikhail Kudryavtsev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Potap Zabolotnikov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Almetyevsk FC reached it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Almetyevsk FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Khimki had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
