If Vladimir Mashinin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danil Snurchevskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klim Garnysh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Anatoliy Kryukov hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Aleksey Mamontov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murmansk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksey Mamontov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After some careless play in the Oktyabrsky FC defense, Maksim Chistov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Komissarov. The Oktyabrsky FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Komissarov should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Maksim Chistov notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Oktyabrsky FC's Viktor Komissarov. Viktor Komissarov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 97 played minutes Oktyabrsky FC got a freekick which was hit by Anton Odnokozov.
