Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leonid Safonov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The goalkeeper, Grigoriy Aven, was totally fooled by Odintsovo FC's Timofey Shefner, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 11th minute Mitrofan Kopeischikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoriy Aven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Pavel Seleznev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nizhny Novgorod's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Seleznev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Vtorushin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mitrofan Kopeischikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Grigoriy Aven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Arkadiy Polatovskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nizhny Novgorod and the Odintsovo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roman Vtorushin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiy Polatovskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ernest Kazakov hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Odintsovo FC booed when Nizhny Novgorod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Kazakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksandr Gusarov got free with Grigoriy Aven in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Mitrofan Kopeischikov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Grigoriy Aven, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mitrofan Kopeischikov made a kick off. A collision led to Nizhny Novgorod getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ernest Kazakov hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Odintsovo FC's Timofey Shefner broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mitrofan Kopeischikov in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigoriy Aven saved Nizhny Novgorod from getting behind. If Ernest Kazakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Odintsovo FC's Roman Vtorushin got control of the ball when Pavel Seleznev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pavel Seleznev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Vtorushin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitrofan Kopeischikov in the 69th minute of play forced Nizhny Novgorod's goalkeeper Grigoriy Aven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Mitrofan Kopeischikov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Odintsovo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mitrofan Kopeischikov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Nizhny Novgorod's goal looked a bit too open when Timofey Shefner came free, but Grigoriy Aven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Seleznev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Vtorushin having to interfere. Odintsovo FC's Roman Vtorushin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Odintsovo FC from getting a goal against them.
