Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Platon Shilov started the match with the kick off. Karl Gulaev in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vitaliy Yarkov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Platon Shilov kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Innokentiy Litvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksey Rodigin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pskov's zone, Aleksey Rodigin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Innokentiy Litvin came out of the goal and Aleksey Rodigin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Innokentiy Litvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksey Rodigin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A nice corner shot did that Innokentiy Korobov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Innokentiy Litvin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vitaliy Yarkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Platon Shilov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Platon Shilov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Platon Shilov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Platon Shilov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Penza FC's Ilya Aksenov got a free kick in the 40th minute. Penza FC's Vitaliy Yarkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Platon Shilov in the 42nd minute of play. Karl Gulaev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Vitaliy Yarkov made a huge save. Ilya Turov hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fedor Kantarovich was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, German Hromov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penza FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pskov the free kick. In the 55th minute, German Hromov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fedor Kantarovich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innokentiy Litvin having to interfere. Aleksey Rodigin struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Innokentiy Litvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penza FC. Gennadiy Perov charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gennadiy Perov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Gennadiy Perov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudolf Tuchin kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Innokentiy Korobov charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Innokentiy Korobov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 70 minutes into the game, one of Penza FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 75 played minutes Pskov got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Tuchin. A collision led to Pskov getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ilya Turov hit a great ball. Penza FC's Innokentiy Korobov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pskov. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Innokentiy Litvin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aleksey Rodigin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innokentiy Litvin having to interfere. Aleksey Rodigin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Innokentiy Litvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fedor Kantarovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Karl Gulaev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Penza FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
