Stepan Drachkin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 4th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Mark Bereznitskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Bereznitskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stepan Drachkin having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Mark Bereznitskiy took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Stepan Drachkin to make any attempt to save it. Danil Borovoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Grigoriy Shalamanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khimki's Grigoriy Shalamanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Katsari in the 27th minute of play. Mark Bereznitskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kyzyl's zone, Mark Bereznitskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stepan Drachkin came out of the goal and Mark Bereznitskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Kyzyl's goalkeeper Stepan Drachkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oleg Dolgolaptev. In the 37th minute Sergey Katsari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoriy Shalamanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khimki's goalkeeper Grigoriy Shalamanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stepan Drachkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Bereznitskiy in the 41st minute of play. Grigoriy Shalamanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danil Borovoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigoriy Shalamanov came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Kyzyl's Sergey Katsari. But to his dismay, Sergey Katsari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Bereznitskiy was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Oleg Dolgolaptev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khimki's supporters rose to their feet, but Oleg Dolgolaptev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stepan Drachkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stepan Drachkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Bereznitskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Khimki booed when Kyzyl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiy Smertin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stepan Drachkin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Bereznitskiy went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 69th match minute, Kyzyl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergey Katsari to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Kyzyl got a freekick which was hit by Igor Bezukhov. Grigoriy Shalamanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Ivanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Stepan Drachkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oleg Dolgolaptev in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Khimki booed when Kyzyl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ippolit Lomach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyzyl's Vladimir Karakulov got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Danil Borovoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigoriy Shalamanov. Khimki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danil Borovoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Khimki's zone, Sergey Katsari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigoriy Shalamanov came out of the goal and Sergey Katsari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 minutes, Arkadiy Smertin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kyzyl and the Khimki players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Arkadiy Smertin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergey Ivanov charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergey Ivanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stepan Drachkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Dolgolaptev in the 97th minute of play. Grigoriy Shalamanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danil Borovoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Danil Borovoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 102nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoriy Shalamanov having to interfere. Khimki's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
