Lev Kulikov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoliy Korevanov in the 13th minute of play forced Kopeysk FC's goalkeeper Lev Kulikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Tula FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gennadiy Havin to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anatoliy Arhipov made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gennadiy Havin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st match minute, Tula FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Beregovoy to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Anatoliy Arhipov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kopeysk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anatoliy Arhipov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Veniamin Timaschuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Voitanovskiy during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
