Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Syktyvkar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gennadiy Golievskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Evseev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 28 minutes, Fedor Makarov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Syktyvkar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedor Makarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Biysk's goalkeeper Pavel Evseev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Syktyvkar FC booed when Biysk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrey Dryabzhinskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Valamskiy hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Biysk got a freekick which was hit by Roman Evdokimov. 46 minutes into the match, Syktyvkar FC's goalkeeper Viktor Gumnitskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladislav Amanzholov. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fedor Makarov to strike the kick off in the second half.
