In the 21st minute, Serafim Belozerov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Georgiy Abdurakhmanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georgiy Abdurakhmanov in the 32nd minute of play forced Elista FC's goalkeeper Danila Baburin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georgiy Abdurakhmanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Danila Baburin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oleg Gostomysl ran back to his position shaking his head. Georgiy Abdurakhmanov struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Danila Baburin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magadan FC. Semen Vishnyakov's late challenge caught a Magadan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Semen Vishnyakov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Elista FC's Semen Vishnyakov got a free kick in the 44th minute. Georgiy Abdurakhmanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Eremin to make the kick off. Elista FC's Danila Baburin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Elista FC from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the match, Elista FC's goalkeeper Danila Baburin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oleg Gostomysl. Artem Volchkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Eremin in the 65th minute of the match.
