Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrey Abdullaev during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timur Musukaev in the 6th minute of play forced Kovrov's goalkeeper Aleksandr Kabulakhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Timur Musukaev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksandr Kabulakhin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Magnitogorsk fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Magnitogorsk's Timur Musukaev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Magnitogorsk's Timur Musukaev got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maksim Radchenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Zamyatin in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Viktor Zamyatin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maksim Radchenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Zamyatin in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maksim Radchenko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Maksim Radchenko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Viktor Zamyatin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Mironov scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maksim Radchenko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timur Musukaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aleksandr Kabulakhin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Kovrov's Konstantin Kozlov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Magnitogorsk. After a rather tough play, Magnitogorsk's Vsevolod Lazhintsev got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Viktor Zamyatin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maksim Radchenko was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Maksim Radchenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Zamyatin, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Aleksandr Kabulakhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timur Musukaev in the 69th minute of the match. Maksim Radchenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Mironov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd match minute, Magnitogorsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Dorozhkin to maneuver through the defense. Maksim Radchenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Mironov's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Aleksandr Kabulakhin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vsevolod Lazhintsev, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Aleksandr Kabulakhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Musukaev in the 81st minute of play. Aleksandr Kabulakhin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timur Musukaev's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Timur Musukaev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandr Kabulakhin having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Ippolit Cherep managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magnitogorsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ippolit Cherep was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ippolit Cherep sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
