Aleksandr Galkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Babarykin having to interfere. The Lubertsy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donat Prozumenschikov should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efim Dumnov was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Lubertsy FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikolay Kachkov. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artem Grudinskiy in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donat Prozumenschikov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donat Prozumenschikov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efim Dumnov in the 58th minute of the match. If Stepan Alekseev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stepan Alekseev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksey Babarykin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Yuriy Bilbasov charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuriy Bilbasov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arkhangelsk! If Aleksandr Galkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stepan Alekseev in the 87th minute of play forced Arkhangelsk's goalkeeper Aleksey Babarykin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lubertsy FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
