Aleksandr Lukyanets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ruslan Izmailov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruslan Izmailov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuil Aleksin in the 8th minute of the match. Vadim Zhukov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Syktyvkar FC defense, Oleg Kostrov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitaliy Izotov. The Syktyvkar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitaliy Izotov should have stopped the shot. In the 20th match minute, Syktyvkar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergey Holzakov to maneuver through the defense. Vitaliy Izotov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oleg Kostrov in the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emmanuil Aleksin in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruslan Izmailov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gleb Abdulazizov during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Gleb Abdulazizov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes Rybinsk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timofey Rodin who took care of the corner kick. When Aleksandr Lukyanets came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Syktyvkar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksandr Lukyanets couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Vadim Zhukov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruslan Izmailov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ruslan Izmailov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmanuil Aleksin in the 40th minute of play. Emmanuil Aleksin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksandr Lukyanets charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksandr Lukyanets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 minutes Syktyvkar FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Genrikh Zyazikov who took care of the corner kick.

The wind increased when Oleg Kostrov made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match Rybinsk got a corner. Syktyvkar FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genrikh Zyazikov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rybinsk's Genrikh Zyazikov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vitaliy Izotov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 63rd minute Oleg Kostrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitaliy Izotov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konstantin Puzach hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Evgeniy Tochilin took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitaliy Izotov. Vitaliy Izotov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Vadim Zhukov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vadim Zhukov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Ruslan Izmailov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ruslan Izmailov was a little too slow when Emmanuil Aleksin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-2. Vadim Zhukov in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruslan Izmailov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ippolit Efremov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rybinsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Ippolit Efremov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitaliy Izotov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Syktyvkar FC's Emmanuil Aleksin in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rybinsk's goalie prevented a goal. The Syktyvkar FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rybinsk from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
