One of Syktyvkar FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nakhodka HC:s goal. Vladislav Sharmanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Nakhodka HC's goalkeeper Mikhail Demin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vadim Zhukov. Nikolay Zvezdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitaliy Izotov came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Nakhodka HC's Vladislav Sharmanov. But to his dismay, Vladislav Sharmanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th minute, Konstantin Puzach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Syktyvkar FC's Vitaliy Izotov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolay Zvezdin in the 29th minute of play. Emmanuil Aleksin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikhail Demin having to interfere. When Aleksandr Lukyanets fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Syktyvkar FC's protests and gave Aleksandr Lukyanets a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Syktyvkar FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Aleksandr Lukyanets hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Ivan Buravtsov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nakhodka HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Syktyvkar FC the free kick. A collision led to Nakhodka HC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ivan Buravtsov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuil Aleksin in the 44th minute of play forced Nakhodka HC's goalkeeper Mikhail Demin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Syktyvkar FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nakhodka HC were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Emmanuil Aleksin made the kick off in the second half. Emmanuil Aleksin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Konstantin Voskoboinikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Emmanuil Aleksin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Demin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Pevtsov kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Konstantin Puzach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Syktyvkar FC and the Nakhodka HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nakhodka HC booed when Syktyvkar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Puzach didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Syktyvkar FC's Vitaliy Izotov got control of the ball when Nikolay Zvezdin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Syktyvkar FC's Vitaliy Izotov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladislav Sharmanov in the 63rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Vladislav Sharmanov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vitaliy Izotov, 1-5. After a rather tough play, Syktyvkar FC's Timofey Rodin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Emmanuil Aleksin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vadim Zhukov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mikhail Demin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladislav Sharmanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
