In the 7th minute, Konstantin Karpin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yuriy Dementiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 11 minutes, Yuriy Dementiev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mytishchi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuriy Dementiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fedot Pashkin hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Petr Zuev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artem Loshagin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Karpin in the 28th minute of play. Mytishchi FC's Konstantin Karpin got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mytishchi FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vitaliy Natalenko hit a great ball. Vikentiy Shakeev, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Daniil Bagrov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petr Zuev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petr Zuev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniil Bagrov having to interfere. In the 40th minute Petr Zuev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniil Bagrov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danil Salnikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Rustam Dobrovolskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mytishchi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kovrov the free kick. After 43 played minutes Mytishchi FC got a freekick which was hit by Rustam Dobrovolskiy. After 44 played minutes, Kovrov's Vikentiy Shakeev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniil Bagrov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kovrov reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Yuriy Dementiev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mytishchi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuriy Dementiev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artem Loshagin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danil Salnikov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anton Bobrov hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Kovrov's Artem Loshagin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Karpin in the 59th minute of play. Petr Zuev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Mytishchi FC's Daniil Bagrov got control of the ball when Petr Zuev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Igor Mishin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Petr Zuev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Daniil Bagrov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yuriy Dementiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mytishchi FC's Konstantin Karpin in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kovrov's goalie prevented a goal. Igor Mishin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Konstantin Karpin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Kovrov players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mytishchi FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
