Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eduard Miheev kicked off to start the match. Konstantin Safonov in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marat Bulanov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 5th minute, Eduard Miheev fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Astrakhan's Sergey Bozenenkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksey Podrezov in the 7th minute of play. Sergey Bozenenkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksey Podrezov in the 10th minute of play. Marat Bulanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Safonov in the 14th minute of the match. Eduard Miheev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marat Bulanov having to make a save. Ippolit Sysoev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergey Bozenenkov. Astrakhan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Bataysk's Aleksey Podrezov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergey Bozenenkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Marat Bulanov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aleksey Podrezov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksandr Petruhov in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergey Bozenenkov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 minutes of play, Bataysk's Aleksandr Petruhov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergey Bozenenkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Astrakhan's Konstantin Safonov got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Astrakhan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bataysk were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksey Podrezov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduard Miheev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bataysk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ippolit Sysoev in the 59th minute. Bataysk's Ippolit Sysoev was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergey Bozenenkov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eduard Miheev succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. When Konstantin Safonov came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Astrakhan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantin Safonov couldn't finish the play. Efim Holuev charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efim Holuev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Astrakhan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efim Holuev to maneuver through the defense. Aleksandr Petruhov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sergey Bozenenkov firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 76 minutes, Aleksandr Petruhov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bataysk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksandr Petruhov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aleksandr Petruhov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astrakhan's Sergey Bozenenkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Astrakhan from getting a goal against them. Bataysk's Marat Bulanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Miheev in the 92nd minute of play. When Aleksandr Petruhov came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Bataysk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksandr Petruhov couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
