Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Filimon Blagonadezhin got the match started through his kick off. 14 minutes into the match, Maykop's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Shashkov came free, but Mikhail Broshin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Timur Evseev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Broshin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes Yakutsk HC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kirill Dubov who took care of the corner kick. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Maykop's Konstantin Ekatov in the 18th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Konstantin Antonov was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Yakutsk HC through an amazing save. Lev Gluhov charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lev Gluhov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute of the match Yaroslav Murakhovskiy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mikhail Broshin skillfully saved the ball. Irakliy Raschepkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yakutsk HC's Viktor Shashkov got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Yakutsk HC's Konstantin Antonov got control of the ball when Irakliy Raschepkin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mikhail Broshin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Evseev in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Timur Evseev made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Irakliy Raschepkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maykop's supporters rose to their feet, but Irakliy Raschepkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantin Antonov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Irakliy Raschepkin took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstantin Antonov. Konstantin Antonov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Viktor Shashkov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Mikhail Broshin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Irakliy Raschepkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantin Antonov having to interfere. In the 73rd minute of the match Valeriy Golovachev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konstantin Antonov skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute, Arseniy Bergovin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Filimon Blagonadezhin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maykop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filimon Blagonadezhin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timur Evseev in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikhail Broshin saved Maykop from getting behind. The supporters of Yakutsk HC booed when Maykop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Ekatov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikhail Broshin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timur Evseev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Timur Evseev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Maykop had won after a very even match.
