After 4 played minutes, Sterlitamak's Moisey Alenichev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maksim Shabashov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Pyatigorsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afanasiy Grigorenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Mechislav Emelin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arkadiy Abramov. Mechislav Emelin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Arkadiy Abramov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Maksim Shabashov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georgiy Syunyaev in the 28th minute of the match. Danil Aksenenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Georgiy Syunyaev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
