Filimon Rovnyanskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipp Bolotov, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Novotroitsk HC's Leonid Stepanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Teverovskiy in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Novotroitsk HC got a freekick which was hit by Gordey Duben. Leonid Stepanov made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Nikita Mostovoy sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Filipp Bolotov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novotroitsk HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipp Bolotov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filimon Rovnyanskiy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filimon Rovnyanskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evsey Yagafarov in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Izhevsk FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ruslan Petrischev hit a great ball. When Evsey Yagafarov came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Novotroitsk HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evsey Yagafarov couldn't finish the play. Sergey Teverovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Filipp Bolotov made the kick off in the second half. Novotroitsk HC's Leonid Stepanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruslan Petrischev in the 53rd minute of play. Evsey Yagafarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksim Vedmed in the 58th minute of play forced Izhevsk FC's goalkeeper Filimon Rovnyanskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasiliy Bondaryuk hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Vyacheslav Stepanov's late challenge caught a Novotroitsk HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vyacheslav Stepanov helped the player get up and apologised. 61 minutes into the game, one of Izhevsk FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Filimon Rovnyanskiy made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Evsey Yagafarov sent off a good shot on target. If Nikita Mostovoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maksim Vedmed hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Sergey Teverovskiy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novotroitsk HC's Leonid Stepanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Filipp Bolotov came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Novotroitsk HC fans jumped to their feet.
