When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Bataysk FC's Grigoriy Urusov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mikhail Moiseev. Dmitriy Kopylov struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Nikolay Cheremisinov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bataysk FC. Nikolay Cheremisinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veniamin Seitakov in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, one of Bataysk FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bataysk FC. In the 16th minute Lev Vorontsov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Moiseev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bataysk FC's Valeriy Kelentsev got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Albert Utochkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bataysk FC's zone, Veniamin Seitakov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolay Cheremisinov came out of the goal and Veniamin Seitakov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lev Vorontsov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Bataysk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lev Vorontsov came free, but Mikhail Moiseev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lev Vorontsov came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Bataysk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lev Vorontsov couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lev Vorontsov in the 35th minute of play forced Bataysk FC's goalkeeper Mikhail Moiseev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Dmitriy Kopylov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bataysk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dmitriy Kopylov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolay Cheremisinov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmanuil Spasskiy during the 41st minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lev Vorontsov was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bataysk FC's goalkeeper Mikhail Moiseev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Veniamin Seitakov kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Mikhail Moiseev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lev Vorontsov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikhail Moiseev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lev Vorontsov in the 61st minute of play. If Lev Vorontsov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Bataysk FC's goalkeeper Nikolay Cheremisinov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dmitriy Kopylov. In the 67th match minute, Bataysk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erast Ostrovoy to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriy Kelentsev in the 71st minute of play forced Bataysk FC's goalkeeper Mikhail Moiseev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
