Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerasim Lavrentev kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Anton Virehovskiy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arzamas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Bratsk HC's Andrey Beznisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Skripnichenko in the 20th minute of play. Andrey Beznisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Skripnichenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Anton Virehovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, Aleksandr Teterin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bratsk HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arzamas FC the free kick. Anton Virehovskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Andrey Beznisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bratsk HC's Aleksandr Teterin got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arzamas FC's goalkeeper Vladislav Ignashevich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yuriy Teteruk took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladislav Ignashevich. Vladislav Ignashevich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After 59 played minutes Arzamas FC got a freekick which was hit by Maksim Bulychov. If Igor Mironychev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuriy Teteruk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Vladislav Ignashevich made a huge save. In the 64th minute Sergey Skripnichenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrey Beznisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Anton Virehovskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bratsk HC's zone, Sergey Skripnichenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrey Beznisko came out of the goal and Sergey Skripnichenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrey Beznisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Skripnichenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arzamas FC's Sergey Skripnichenko got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 85 in the game by Yuriy Teteruk from a close distance when the talented Vladislav Ignashevich managed to make a qualified save. Arzamas FC's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fedor Boyarinov during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
