Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes of play, Ivanovo's Yuriy Knyazev made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gleb Artemev was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 10 in the game by Vladimir Smirnov from a close distance when the talented Gleb Artemev managed to make a qualified save. Elektrostal's players were relieved. Efrem Leontenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dmitriy Begtabegov's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Ivanovo's Efrem Leontenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandr Kutorgin in the 18th minute of play. Yuriy Knyazev might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gleb Artemev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yuriy Knyazev ran back to his position shaking his head. Vladimir Smirnov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gleb Artemev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Elektrostal's Vladimir Anisimov got a free kick in the 29th minute. Vladimir Smirnov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gleb Artemev having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ivanovo's zone, Aleksandr Kutorgin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrem Leontenko came out of the goal and Aleksandr Kutorgin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 played minutes Ivanovo got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Adashevskiy. Klim Soloviev hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Vladimir Smirnov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gleb Artemev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Yuriy Knyazev made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 56 in the game by Dmitriy Begtabegov from a close distance when the talented Efrem Leontenko managed to make a qualified save. Ivanovo's players were relieved. After having played for 57 minutes, Aleksandr Kutorgin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elektrostal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksandr Kutorgin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir Smirnov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimir Smirnov in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gleb Artemev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ivanovo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Roman Mordvinov hit a great ball. Gleb Artemev came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Ivanovo's Vitaliy Biryukov. But to his dismay, Vitaliy Biryukov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gleb Artemev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Smirnov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Yuriy Knyazev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivanovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuriy Knyazev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gleb Artemev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Elektrostal's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Smirnov came free, but Gleb Artemev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gleb Artemev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuriy Knyazev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivanovo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Mordvinov in the 91st minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Vladimir Smirnov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ivanovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Smirnov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuriy Knyazev in the 95th minute of play forced Elektrostal's goalkeeper Gleb Artemev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivanovo's Efrem Leontenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandr Kutorgin in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elektrostal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ivanovo.
