Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yakov Polyakov started the match with the kick off. Marat Ostromenitskiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniil Ivashkovskiy's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 3 minutes into the game, Oleg Adabash was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rybinsk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kazan FC the free kick. After 4 played minutes Rybinsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Adabash. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonid Bokonbaev in the 8th minute of play forced Rybinsk FC's goalkeeper Marat Ostromenitskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Daniil Ivashkovskiy came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Kazan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniil Ivashkovskiy couldn't finish the play. Leonid Bokonbaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Marat Ostromenitskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Kazan FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Veniamin Bryndin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kazan FC's Leonid Bokonbaev got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniil Ivashkovskiy in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marat Ostromenitskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marat Ostromenitskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniil Ivashkovskiy in the 24th minute of the match. When Osip Ananko fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rybinsk FC's protests and gave Osip Ananko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Rybinsk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osip Ananko to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Andrey Lazarev managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Rybinsk FC's Veniamin Bryndin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 37th minute, Yakov Polyakov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniil Ivashkovskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marat Ostromenitskiy having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Ivashkovskiy in the 42nd minute of play forced Rybinsk FC's goalkeeper Marat Ostromenitskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Rybinsk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vyacheslav Dvoskin to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Kazan FC's Andrey Lazarev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yakov Polyakov in the 56th minute of play. Andrey Lazarev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yakov Polyakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oleg Adabash was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. A collision led to Rybinsk FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Oleg Adabash hit a great ball. Daniil Ivashkovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Viktor Polyakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marat Ostromenitskiy having to interfere. Marat Ostromenitskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Dovbnya in the 74th minute of the match. After 76 minutes Rybinsk FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aleksandr Korolev who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Igor Karpin managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Marat Ostromenitskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniil Ivashkovskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Varfolomey Shabat kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Leonid Bokonbaev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marat Ostromenitskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniil Ivashkovskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Martyn Slivko hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The long shot by Aleksandr Korolev in the 90th minute really tested Marat Ostromenitskiy's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
