Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mikhail Gumbert took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mikhail Gumbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rostislav Biryukov having to interfere. Rostislav Biryukov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrey Erzakovich in the 5th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Engels FC's Andrey Komissarov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Tagankin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 13 played minutes Birobidzhan got a freekick which was hit by Mikhail Gumbert. Andrey Komissarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Artur Tagankin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eldar Tvorozhnikov came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Engels FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eldar Tvorozhnikov couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikita Klimenko during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Birobidzhan's Nikita Klimenko got a free kick in the 21st minute. Birobidzhan's Artur Tagankin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrey Komissarov in the 24th minute of play. Eldar Tvorozhnikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Tagankin having to interfere. Eldar Tvorozhnikov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikhail Gumbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rostislav Biryukov having to interfere. If Andrey Erzakovich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Rostislav Biryukov managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Birobidzhan's Andrey Erzakovich fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Artur Tagankin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eldar Tvorozhnikov's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Birobidzhan's goal looked a bit too open when Eldar Tvorozhnikov came free, but Artur Tagankin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eldar Tvorozhnikov to strike the kick off in the second half. Engels FC's Eldar Tvorozhnikov got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikita Klimenko was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 53rd minute, Nikita Klimenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the game, Stanislav Grozevskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birobidzhan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Engels FC the free kick. After 55 played minutes Birobidzhan got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Grozevskiy. 56 minutes into the match, Engels FC's Eldar Tvorozhnikov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Tagankin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andrey Komissarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Tagankin having to interfere. Andrey Erzakovich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rostislav Biryukov having to interfere. Birobidzhan's Andrey Erzakovich got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eldar Tvorozhnikov in the 80th minute of play forced Birobidzhan's goalkeeper Artur Tagankin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Mikhail Gumbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birobidzhan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Engels FC the free kick. In the 84th minute, Mikhail Gumbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes, Engels FC's Irakliy Fedotov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Artur Tagankin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Engels FC reached it. Eldar Tvorozhnikov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Tagankin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Andrey Komissarov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Engels FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrey Komissarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
