Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oleg Sinitsin got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Irkutsk got a freekick which was hit by Aleksey Alymov. In the 9th minute, Evgeniy Sviridov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Alliluev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evgeniy Kovalenko in the 10th minute of the match. If Oleg Sinitsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irkutsk's Yuvenaliy Zasuha couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Seversk. Maksim Stasov struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Igor Alliluev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irkutsk. In the 25th minute Evgeniy Kovalenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Alliluev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Seversk's zone, Evgeniy Kovalenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Alliluev came out of the goal and Evgeniy Kovalenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oleg Sinitsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modest Kabanov having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Emmanuil Nabiev made a precise shot to the right of Modest Kabanov. Irkutsk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Igor Alliluev came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Irkutsk's Maksim Stasov. But to his dismay, Maksim Stasov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A hard shot 47 in the game by Emmanuil Nabiev from a close distance when the talented Modest Kabanov managed to make a qualified save. Irkutsk's players were relieved.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evgeniy Kovalenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Evgeniy Kovalenko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Igor Alliluev. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Valentin Akunin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seversk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yuvenaliy Zasuha was slow to take the kick. During this time Irkutsk's players had a chance to rest. Yuvenaliy Zasuha made a great header on Irkutsk's corner, it was just that Seversk's Igor Alliluev managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maksim Stasov got free with Igor Alliluev in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Oleg Sinitsin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modest Kabanov. Irkutsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oleg Sinitsin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 78th minute, Evgeniy Sviridov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maksim Stasov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Irkutsk got a freekick which was hit by Aleksey Alymov. After 89 minutes of play, Irkutsk's Maksim Stasov made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Alliluev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emmanuil Nabiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Irkutsk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Irkutsk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
