Konstantin Afinogenov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gleb Gesti, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Danila Nikitin kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gleb Gesti in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konstantin Afinogenov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gleb Gesti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantin Afinogenov having to interfere. Timur Fedyakin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Danila Nikitin's late challenge caught a Velikiy Novgorod's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danila Nikitin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Danila Nikitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Konstantin Belyanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Velikiy Novgorod's Yakov Galkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Velikiy Novgorod from getting a goal against them. Biysk walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
