Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Askold Zubinskiy kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Matvey Lebedev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniil Zobov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikita Neizvestnyh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniil Zobov having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Syktyvkar FC's Ippolit Drozdov got a free kick in the 11th minute. Matvey Lebedev did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Daniil Zobov 14 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipp Strizhko during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Syktyvkar FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Filipp Strizhko hit a great ball. If Nikita Neizvestnyh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikita Neizvestnyh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniil Zobov having to interfere. Nikita Neizvestnyh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniil Zobov having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georgiy Drozd in the 37th minute of play forced Ivanovo HC's goalkeeper Nikita Gavrilyuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Syktyvkar FC booed when Ivanovo HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Savenkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Syktyvkar FC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Ivanovo HC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marat Karakchiev took the corner. The corner led to Syktyvkar FC's David Shashkov getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matvey Lebedev made a kick off. Ivanovo HC's Nikita Neizvestnyh got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Georgiy Drozd got free with Nikita Gavrilyuk in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Syktyvkar FC's Askold Zubinskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Syktyvkar FC's zone, Matvey Lebedev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniil Zobov came out of the goal and Matvey Lebedev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Andrey Malafeev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikita Gavrilyuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Askold Zubinskiy in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, Ivanovo HC's Nikita Gavrilyuk got control of the ball when Georgiy Drozd tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matvey Lebedev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniil Zobov having to interfere. Daniil Zobov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matvey Lebedev in the 75th minute of play. Syktyvkar FC's Daniil Zobov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matvey Lebedev in the 81st minute of play. If Askold Zubinskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georgiy Drozd struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Nikita Gavrilyuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syktyvkar FC. Matvey Lebedev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniil Zobov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matvey Lebedev's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Syktyvkar FC's Askold Zubinskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
